Studying as a Full-time Student at the HTWG (ending with a degree)
In order to become a full time student and receive a bachelors or masters degree from the HTWG international students must first pass a German proficiency exam (DSH), offered regularly in Konstanz. Upon passing the DSH students must confirm that scholastic ability achieved at home is comparable with that of a German high school diploma. In order to do this international applicants, who aspire to earn a degree at the Hochschule Konstanz, should contact Ausländerstudienkolleg (ASK) at the HTWG. ASK does not admit students, but after a successful evaluation, international students are able to apply to the Hochschule Konstanz.
The HTWG offers many bachelors and masters possibilities, please see below for a list of available programs. Students interested in a Bachelor or Master Degree program (taught in German) at the HTWG, should apply directly to the department. Enrollment is however only possible after passing the DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber), which is offered three times per year by ASK.
