Courses of the Studienkolleg
The Studienkolleg conducts two-semester courses, in which you will be prepared for your degree course and take the necessary exam for university entry ("Feststellungsprüfung"):
- T-Course: Preparation for technical and engineering courses.
- W-Course: Preparation for courses in business and social sciences studies.
Courses are taught on the university campus. Your teachers and professors are working in the Studienkolleg and also in the degree courses. You will be enrolled as a student and will be able to use the library, the IT-facilities and all the other facilities on campus.
No tuition fees are charged for attending the Studienkolleg. However, just like all students at German universities, approximately 150 EUR is charged per semester for the student services and as a contribution to the administrative costs of the higher education institutions.
International students at the universities in Baden-Württemberg have to pay tuition fees (1,500 EUR per semester). Students from Germany or from other EU countries and refugees do not have to pay tuition fees.
