Business German and Tourism Management
A cooperation between the Asian Studies program at the HTWG Konstanz and selected partner universities in ASIA: In this cooperation program, Asian students first complete a two-year program at their home universities, then finish their degree with a two-year program in Konstanz. Graduates earn a bachelor’s degree from both universities.
Applications
The WDT program is exclusively for applicants from our Asian partner universities who have already completed a four-six semester program at their home university.
Application Process
WDT students complete the last four semesters of their studies (semesters four to seven) at the HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences Konstanz. The program always starts in the winter semester.
Selection Process
The following will be taken into consideration in the application selection process:
Students’ grades during their preliminary studies, as well as their scores in the WDT selection test.
The WDT selection test consists of two parts: A German section and a business-economic section. Students also take part in an interview.
Dates for Selection Process
The selection process always takes place in March at our Asian partner universities. Students who pass the test need to submit their application by June 1st. (Submission of application documents to the HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences student services).
All new students must participate in the mandatory preparatory course at the HTWG Konstanz in September.
Semester Timetable
The winter semester runs from October to the end of January (+ two week exam period). The summer semester runs from mid-March to the beginning of July (+ two week exam period).
