    They speak the language of engineers and economists and, with their integrative, interdisciplinary education, are therefore predestined for a management or specialist career at the interface of technology and business. With a focus on electrical engineering and information technology, graduates in engineering and management specialise in an absolutely high-tech industry that has become an integral part of our private and professional everyday life. The student will acquire a sound knowledge of electrical engineering, information technology, natural sciences, economics and law and apply this to current issues in areas such as

    • autonomic systems
    • e-mobility
    • smart grids
    • Industry 4.0
    • renewable energies.

     

    Thanks to a state-of-the-art study organization, they develop competencies in the integration core area that is important for engineering and management graduates at an early stage. Academic content from the integration core area is intended to supplement and ensure that engineering and management content is connected and interrelated. The choice of five majors allows them to set their course with a view to starting their careers.


    Studying in English at the HTWG

    The degree program EIW requires German language skills since most courses are taught in German. However, at least one course per semester is taught in English. In addition, it is possible to complete both a bachelor thesis and projects in English.
