About Us

What does "AStA" stand for? And more importantly what do we do?

AStA stands for “Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss” which is equivalent to the „General Student Committee". We are the link between students and university management and besides the work as the student representation. Our aim is to improve the student´s life at HTWG Konstanz. On the other hand, we can also assist you with problems and other questions considering your study situation. You can think of us as a student union!
That is why we are represented in the Senate, in the administrative council of Seezeit, in the board of trustees of the HTWG and in many other commissions.
Sounds complicated? Don’t worry it’s not!

If you want to find out more about our commitment, check out our service and counselling sections above.
You are interested in learning more about our practice? Come and join us in our weekly team meetings!

When? Every Monday at 7:15 PM in room F023.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
