    Working Internationally Workshop Series

The Workshop Internationally series to help you prepare for working abroad. This series, a collaboration between the IKZ and the Equality Team, offers five different 3-hour workshops each semester. The SSB workshops are open to all HTWG-Konstanz students.

These workshops, led by HTWG staff and external coaches and trainers, cover a wide range of topics from writing an English CV, working in Switzerland and how to find your work-life balance.

Students who participate in 4 of the 5 offered workshops also receive 1 ECTS credit point that can be used as Extracurricular Studies credits according to the corresponding HTWG Konstanz Study and Exam Guidelines. Students who wish to earn ECTS credits must attend the workshops within one semester. (Please turn in the required certificate of attendance). It is unfortunately not possible to attend individual workshops over multiple semesters and receive credit at the end of your studies.

Please register for the workshops via moodle. Registration is binding, meaning we then expect you to actually come to the workshop.

For more information on the different workshops and to register, please see our Moodle page: moodle.htwg-konstanz.de/moodle/enrol/index.php

Check out more details to the program in this flyer (PDF)

We look forward to seeing you in our workshops!

    PLEASE NOTE:

Registering for the workshops in moodle is not the same as registering for an exam. If you need the grades for your transcript, please register for the exam online during the exam registration period using the Web Portal Study Affairs.

Earn ECTS Credits via the Extracurricular Studies Program

This is the procedure for earning ECTS credits: First, register for the workshops you plan to attend at the Examination Office (Prüfungsamt). Second, attend (and enjoy) the workshops. The workshop leader will take attendance to prove you were there.

Third, you tell the IKZ at the end of the semester about the workshops you attended so that we can confirm the number of ECTS credits you have earned. And finally, you fill your transcript.

Easy enough, right? We look forward to seeing you there.
