Internationalization
Internationalization is a central part of the overall strategic plan at the HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences. This campus-wide mission affects all aspects of our work, from teaching, research & transfer, to our continuing education program and administration. This page provides an overview of the internationalization activities we are currently pursuing at the HTWG Konstanz. Our goal is to consolidate these activities even more firmly at all levels of our university - while continuing to advance our international agenda.
"IntegrAll - Skilled Professionals for Technical Fields"
IntegrALL is a 4-year DAAD-funded project at the HTWG Konstanz. This € 1.2 m DAAD grant, the biggest HTWG internationalization grant yet, is intended to support international students during their studies and recruit them for the German labor market. The program targets international (MINT) students pursuing degrees in English (Sustainable Engineering and Future Technologies degree program) as well as German-language degree programs at the HTWG Konstanz.
The project consists of four modules:
Preparing for Studies: This includes a range of information events and a marketing campaign to attract international students, followed by advising support and language courses to prepare students for their studies.
Student Success: To help students achieve success in their studies, we will offer language courses, intercultural and social events, as well as academic advising and tutoring in their majors.
Starting their Careersin Germany: This module includes events such as workshops, advising sessions and application coaching related to starting a professional career in Germany.
Building Networkswith Companies: The goal here is to establish cooperative networks with partners with connections to the labor market. A wide variety of events gives international students the possibility to get in touch directly with companies.
