Welcome to the

Institute for Strategic Innovation & Technology Management

Sustainable Growth with Agility and Innovation

As an institute for research and transfer, the Institute for Strategic Innovation and Technology Management IST is the competence centre of the HTWG Konstanz on the subject of innovation and strategy. In publicly funded research and industry-related projects methods, processes and tools are developed with which technology-oriented companies in particular can strategically develop, commercially successfully implement and legally secure innovations.

With this expertise, we support companies in improving their own competitiveness and successfully implementing strategic innovation initiatives. Therefore, we impart knowledge and offer design impulses to embed dynamic skills in your company and to strengthen the agility of your organization.

We offer companies research-related services in the areas of strategic innovation and transformation, technology management and industrial property rights. We support companies in answering questions such as ...

  • How do we successfully integrate an idea into the market as an innovation?
  • How does innovation determine the sustainability of my company?
  • How can we support innovation, what prevents it?
  • How can we improve the agility of our organization?
  • How can the necessary change be successfully implemented?
  • What types of innovation will determine my markets of tomorrow?
  • Our Mission

The Institute's extensive know-how is based on the many years of practical-, research- and management experience of three professors and their interdisciplinary cooperation:
