Professor at HTWG-Konstanz since 2016. Before that 19 years at Robert Bosch GmbH, initially as industrial PhD, then as an engineer and manager in advance development and development of Bosch Thermotechnology. Later, foundation and leading of the department "Advance development for future systems of building technology" within Bosch corporate research. During this time also responsible for supervising investments in technology start-ups and research teams in the USA and in Singapore. Finally, 2014-2016 head of development at the Bosch subsidiary for solar inverters.
Since 2017 member of the board of the energy cooperative Teckwerke e.G, as well as managing director of subsidiaries in the wind sector (https://windwandler.teckenergie.de/, https://www.windpark-falkenhoehe.de/). Since 2021 also active as consulting expert for heating technology, among others for Daimler and for the Klinikverbund Südwest.
Since 2017 member of the expert committee for teaching of the German Society for Solar Energy and since 2018 member of the board of trustees of Bodensee-Consulting.
