Research interests: 
Battery cell state estimation; Battery cell lifespan prediction
Background:
Moritz Neu completed his bachelor’s degree in mechatronics at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences in August 2024.
He then earned his master’s degree in mechatronics/systems engineering at Esslingen and Aalen Universities of Applied Sciences. 
During this time, he worked as a technical staff member at the Institute for Technical Reliability and Prognostics at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. 
Moritz Neu completed his master’s degree in April 2026 and has been working as a research assistant at the Institute for System Dynamics at HTWG Konstanz since June 2026.
