    Studying Applied Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) is part of your everyday life: You use AI in search engines, digital voice assistants, and music streaming services. But AI is also crucial for businesses and their success: They use it, for example, to make recommendations in online stores, answer your questions promptly via chatbots, or detect fraud in online banking.

This means that companies across various sectors are looking for people who can work with AI professionally, because such technologies are only as good as how well they are understood and utilized.

In the Applied AI computer science program, you will learn:

    • To understand the technical and mathematical concepts behind AI
    • To use AI effectively as a tool
    • To select, apply, optimize, and further develop AI solutions for various industries and applications

    Key areas of study:

    • Mathematics
    • Data Science (extracting information from large datasets to identify patterns and make predictions for the future)
    • Programming, Software Development
    • Deep Learning (machines are designed to mimic human learning as closely as possible, e.g., speech recognition)
    • Opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence, ethical and legal considerations

You bring the following interests and skills along:
Would you like to analyze, structure, improve, or creatively and innovatively design AI-powered solutions, or develop suitable (software) solutions using AI tools? Are you curious, communicative, and well-organized, with an interest in technical AI solutions and processes? Then help shape the future of digitalization with your AI expertise!

Good reasons to study Applied AI in Konstanz
