    Completed her studies in philosophy, German Literature and Theater.

    Wrote her PhD thesis on ethically-oriented corporate and personnel management in 1996.

    This was followed by a period in the private sector (mechanical and systems engineering) as well as in the scientific area as an assistant professor at the Research Institute for Philosophy Hannover (FIPH).

    Partner and member of the board in the consulting firm Bickmann & Collegen in Hamburg from 1998-2004.

    Founded the consulting firm "Dr. Kleinfeld CEC - Corporate Excellence Consultancy” focusing on corporate integrity, ethics, values, CI and culture management as well as social responsibility in 2004.

    Prof Kleinfeld was selected to join the German delegation’s team of experts responsible for revising the ISO 26000 Standards (guidelines for social responsibility in companies) which was completed in 2010.

    Managing partner of the ZfW Compliance Monitor GmbH from 2008 to 2014.

    Many years of experience in the European Business Ethics Network Deutschland E.V. (dnwe). Prof. Kleinfeld became vice chair of the organization in 2010. In addition, she is an active member in the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN).

    Prof Kleinfeld is founder and member of the board in the Stiftung Club of Hamburg, which seeks to connect scientific theory and practice and is one of the leading forums for business ethics and management culture in the German-speaking countries since 2013.

    Professor for Business & Society at the HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences since 2014.
