Directions

• Arriving by car

  From Germany
  Take the B33 highway towards Switzerland. After crossing the Seerhein River (new bridge), turn left and follow the signs to the “HTWG Konstanz." If you’re coming to Konstanz by ferry, also follow the signs towards Switzerland. After crossing the Seerhein river (old bridge), keep to the right and also follow the signs to the "HTWG Konstanz."

  From Switzerland
  After crossing the border (from the N7 highway), continue north towards Singen. Before crossing the new Rhine bridge, turn right and follow the signs to the "HTWG Konstanz." If coming from Kreuzlingen or the Emmishofer customs, drive around the old city counterclockwise (do not cross the Rhine!) and follow the signs to the HTWG Konstanz.

• Arriving by train and bus

  From the Konstanz train station (FRG/SBB) take bus number 5 to the "Gartenstraße”, “Ellenrieder Gymnasium" or "Untere Laube” and walk from there.

  From Kreuzlingen, take bus 908 to the main station (Bahnhof) and then change to bus number 5 to the "Gartenstraße”, “Ellenrieder Gymnasium" or "Untere Laube” and walk from there.

  If you’re taking the ferry, take bus number 1. Once you arrive in Konstanz, get off at “Schottenplatz”. It’s a 5-minute walk from there.

• Arriving by ship

  The Konstanz harbor is located right next to the train station. Lake Constance ships arrive here. From the harbor, cross under the train tracks and you’ll find the “Marktstätte” bus stop in front of the Sparkasse Bank. From there, take bus number 5 to the "Gartenstraße”, “Ellenrieder Gymnasium" or "Untere Laube” and walk from there.
