Program Goals and Structure
The focus of our master’s program in International Management Asia-Europe is on preparing students to deal with management issues relevant to the Asian context, while strengthening their personal and interpersonal skills. Students learn the methods and concepts related to complexity and risk management when doing business in Asia. In addition, they develop country-specific strategies for dealing with concrete situations and learn management skills that cultivate a sensitivity for complexity.
The MIM master’s program is offered once a year, starting in the winter semester. The program includes two theoretical semesters (A and B semesters), followed by a project/research semester (C semester). This is a unique program at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz: it is possible to complete this master’s program in four semesters, entirely in English and to earn a double degree in cooperation with our AACSB-accredited partner university, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST)
Asia Cluster
The Asia Cluster is a group of three interconnected programs at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz offering Asia-oriented degrees. This includes the master’s program in International Management Asia-Europe. These programs have been successfully preparing students for careers in Asia or at companies and organizations closely connected with Asia for over 20 years.
The Asia Cluster is a cutting-edge working group on the shores of Lake Constance in Germany. It is made up of a faculty with rich international experience, and also attracts students from many Asian countries. We value the close learning cooperation with our students and the open, collaborative academic environment.
