    Completed his law degree at the Universities of Konstanz and Lausanne (CH). Received his PhD from the University of Konstanz in 1996. Awarded the Karl-Leitl-Partnership Prize for special scientific achievements in the area of organizational partnerships. Spent several years as a lawyer and in-house counsel, most recently as General Counsel and Chief of Staff in the European aerospace industry. During this time his work primarily involved national and international business transactions and restructurings.

    Received professorship for Business Law at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences in 2001. Professor at the HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences focusing on company law, commercial law, labor law, compliance and corporate governance since 2010.

    In addition to his work at the HTWG Konstanz, Prof. Dr. Haag is director of the Institute for Corporate Law and is of counsel for a law firm specializing in corporate law for national and international companies and organizations.
