Soft Skills and Entry Requirements

The Master's programme in Business Management requires students to be willing to engage with the multifaceted issues involved in viewing companies as complex social systems. The aim is to expand and deepen the business management knowledge and skills acquired in the Bachelor's programme. Commitment and initiative, critical thinking and moral reflection are essential soft skills for this.
An essential prerequisite for admission to the Master's programme is a first professionally qualifying university degree in business administration or a related subject with a predominantly business-related content and a final grade of at least 2.5.
Application and Admission
You can start the Master's programme in Business Management in either the winter or summer semester. Fifteen places are available per semester.
• Application deadline for the winter semester:
1 June of the respective year
• Application deadline for the summer semester:
1 December of the previous year
Applications can only be submitted online.
The selection procedure includes a personal interview with two professors from the BW degree programmes.
If you have earned 180 ECTS credits in your bachelor's degree programme, you may be admitted on condition that you complete additional coursework.
