The Institute for Strategic Innovation and Technology Management is the competence center for innovation and strategy. Research focuses on Strategic Transformation, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Startups, Ambidextrie, Agility and Digitalization.
In the CE research field, we investigate the strategic use and organization of startup-like innovation activities in established companies. By publishing our findings in the international scientific community, we actively participate in the scientific discussion on the design of entrepreneurial innovation development.
METHODOLOGY
The research is based on interview data with CEOs and innovation managers on the use of various CE activities in German industry (>12,000 min.). The cross-company and cross-industry data analysis provides generalizable findings on organizational structures, procedures and coordination mechanisms and objectives for various CE activities.
