    eArchitecture Lab

The eArchitecture Lab is an interdisciplinary laboratory concept, a so-called Living Lab for strategic management systems. The aim of the eArchitecture Lab is to explore principles, working methods and leadership processes for strategic architectures, as well as to provide an open test environment for developing and demonstrating new routines and new system and software components. This also includes testing of applications and technical management systems. The eArchitecture Lab evaluates scenarios for the application of processes and methods as well as systems and applications. In addition, leadership systems can be developed from scenario simulations.

As a Living Lab, the eArchitecture Lab contributes significantly to the unification of research and innovation processes in "real-life" networks and environmental conditions. Through the increased practical relevance, Open Innovation processes can be researched and new solutions developed. The eArchitecture Lab is a partner of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). www.openlivinglabs.eu

In the eArchitecture Lab, students have the opportunity to help shape ongoing industrial and funding projects both through project work and theses as well as within the framework of scientific support activities. In addition, the eArchitecture Lab is used as an incubation environment for the early phase of company foundation. Successful start-ups are:

    • Arel (videoconferencing)
    • Husky (Security middleware)
    • Openscape (spring-loaded communication)
    • Solyp3 (strategic control system)
    • Doctors' platform coliquio.de.

Our findings from numerous research projects on Open Innovation, Strategic Leadership and Living Labs are presented in the following publications.
