International Management Asia-Europe

    The International Management Asia-Europe program, emphasizing the issues of complexity and risk, can be completed in three semesters - or add a fourth one and obtain an optional double degree.

    Studying Abroad

    Students in the International Management Asia-Europe (MIM) master’s program have many opportunities to study or do an internship abroad. These include our "Industrial Sessions” elective and the “Asian Campus Courses”.)

    Industrial Sessions

    The annual elective course "Industrial Sessions" takes students on an excursion to an Asian country, where they have the opportunity to meet with local business people and experience the local culture first hand. The excursions rotate between China, India and other countries in Southeast Asia. 

    Asian Campus Courses

    Master’s students also have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our Asian partner universities as part of the so-called “Asian Campus Courses” program. Students enroll in courses there and receive credit towards their master’s degree at the HTWG Konstanz. These courses give students the opportunity to gather additional international experience, develop and refine their language skills, research specific topics and issues, and get inspiration for their master’s thesis.

    The HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences has master’s level partnerships with the following Asian universities:

    • Kyonggi University in Suwon, South Korea
    • Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) in Tainan, Taiwan
    • University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
    • University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
       

    Students receive tuition waivers at our partner universities thanks to our cooperation agreements.

    Voluntary Language Semester: Students also have the possibility to take a semester to work on their language skills (Chinese, Indonesian or Vietnamese) at one of the following partner universities in China, Indonesia or Taiwan:

    Mainland China:

    • Beijing Language and Culture University
    • Qingdao University
    • Xi'an International Studies University


    Greater China:

    • Wenzao Ursuline University, Kaoxiong, Taiwan


    Indonesien: 

    • Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta

    • University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur
       

    Vietnam

    • University of Language and International Studies, Hanoi
       

    HTWG Konstanz students receive a tuition waiver for almost all of our partner universities listed above.
