DAAD Sprachnachweis Englisch

The easiest way to get the DAAD language form  filled out is to ask a university English teacher whose course you have attended within the last two years and has assessed your speaking, reading, and writing skills.

If you have not attended such a course, you would have to sign up for and take a short language assessment test. The test comprises speaking (10 minutes), reading (25 minutes), and writing an essay (25 minutes). Prepare for essay writing here: www.internationalstudent.com/essay_writing/essay_tips/

If you are aiming for a B2 level, we will need to see you actively use specific vocabulary from your field of study.

On the day of the test, be sure to bring a copy of the DAAD form with the first page and headers of all subsequent pages filled out with your name and the language tested.
